I keep thinking how Raggedy Tom reacted in the first book he came out in. When he realized it was the Bear family and saw them especially Mama Bear. He had a look of Terror. Why? Was he scared of Mama? Did he know her already or her reputation? It also reminds me of Thanksgiving special Big Paw where she predicts Big Paw’s coming when bears in Bear Country become mean, greedy, selfish, and uncaring of the needy. He will gobble everything up including them, all bad , good and poor bears. She criticized Papa and the other Bears . Okay, so she caring to the poor then but not with Raggedy Tom?
